Maui Trip Kaanapali

Me and Shawn went to Maui for the weekend to visit my Granny and Papa and to show Shawn the sights!

This was on a really cold, windy day when Shawn was at work. Notice the difference when Shawn is not here...

This is the view from the front of the school in what we call the "little circle" because there are a bunch of flags from many different countries which forms a little circle...and you can park there, but it's hard to find a spot!

Making Good Use of Shawn's Surf Board

Shawn bought this short board last semester thinking he'd be able to learn how to ride it, but it just sat there in his dorm room all summer. Then when we came back, it had a mysterious dent in it, and we procrastinated fixing it until now. So here's Shawn putting his money and repairs to good use. I didn't get any pictures of him actually surfing because he was too far away...I wonder if he did that on purpose
