We got all dressed up for McKenon's priesthood ordination, so I wanted a picture - the only other time we dress up is for church

Sand Castle Competition

We went to the annual sand castle competition down at Imperial Beach, but we didn't get a picture of us...just the sand castles.

Karen's Birthday!

A bunch of Karen's friends came over to celebrate with us :) We had a cupcake cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday Karen!!

The Del Mar Fair

We went to the Del Mar Fair on the 4th of July, but we didn't stay for the fireworks. This was the only picture we could muster that afternoon. But we had fun eating kettle corn and watching turkey races :)

What a Torn Hamstring Looks Like

My boss got in a little wrestle with his son, who was trying to throw him in the pool, but instead of just letting him he fought back and this is what happened. Good thing he's a physical therapist, so he could use things like the ultrasound machine shown in the pictures, operated by yours truly :)

Elder Abreu is going to Portugal!

Our New Bedding

A portion of our wedding money at Bed Bath and Beyond went to this sweet-looking bedding! It came with two sets of sheets and pillow cases, so we could wash one set while we sleep on the other! Plus, it came with this cool comforter with matching sham pillowcases, and euro sham pillowcases, and two itty bitty pillows that Shawn is laying on in the picture. And all of it was on sale too :)
